 JLGC will be hosting our very first book club in connection with AJLI’s support!

Join us at Then and Now Bookshop in Galveston for our first book club meeting where we will discuss AJLI’s January Book Selection, The Personal Librarian by Marie Benedict and Victoria Christopher Murray.

Lori, owner of Then and Now Bookshop, is graciously opening up her shop to us after hours, from 6:30-8:30pm on January 27th, 2025, to allow us time to connect and talk about this book. We are allowed to bring food and drink in, so bring your favorite just for you or something to share with the group, if you’re feeling generous!

Lori has set up a pre-order link for us and will be offering a 15% discount for all pre-orders purchased through her. She will notify us when they are available for pick up at her shop! Please click the link below to order.
